Hi,

I have a room tag that contains 3 labels. They are made of 3 separate labels because I want the text size to differ between the 3.

I have Room Number, Room Name and Area as the 3 labels.

Is there a way I can control the distance between the labels - or make the Area label move if the text in the Room Name label wraps onto more than one line?

I know I can make more than one family but that would mean manually looking for tags where the label has wrapped and swapping them out and we work on quite large projects.

I ideally want this to be automatic.

The only other alternative was to make  more than one type within the family and use vibility parameters to control two area labels - one a line lower than the other. This still requires manually swapping out tag types.

Thanks

Suzanne

You would need to include a image of what you have and what you want (Use windows snipping tool or something) Hard to give specific advise to such a generic quesiton, Without knowing what it needs to look like I would say pay attention to alignment horizontal and vertical. For us, our room name is on top, room number in the middle and area below, we align the room name to be bottom center so as it grows it expans upwards away from the room number, We plan enough growth into our room number and area that we can assume they will never wrap.
