Does anyone know if one exists as I cant establish wehther the most available actually work with Revit LT, the trials dont seem too but then other full version holders have the sam eproblems so without forking out the expense I wondered if anyone knew of one that did in fact work?

PDF's are a print process, not a conversion. They are not provided with Revit, you need a 3D PDF program. Instead, you can create 3D DWF's, that is supported.

I have been told by 3DA systems that there process is not compatible with LT, just wondered if anyone knew of any that were?
