Our company is growing and the small buisness server we have at our office will not longer suffice. We're evaluating a proposal to move our server external to a tech-company which will hold our entire structure, exchange, file server and so on.
This means our local copies of Revit files will still be on our inhouse computers (of course) but the central file will exist on the tech-comps server external.
Does anyone have any experience regarding this solution? Will it work seamless or will there be a constant delay, such as if you work through a bad wireless conection? We have fibre at our office which delivers 100mb/s so thats pretty up to speed.
Is this a naive idea or do "everybody" already use this?
