Hi everyone,
I am using 2014 and i am having this problems every time i reload my structural model link. It deletes dimensions, coordinates and other things every time i reload the file even in araes not modified. I get the warning that dimensions have become invalid but the columns have not moved. Any ideas what would be causing this problem.
Thanks,
Jeff

ARe you reloading from? Or are you actually re-linking? This sounds like you are linking.
To update linked models without closing the current project, you can unload and reload the linked models.
- Click Manage tabManage Project panel (Manage Links).
- In the Manage Links dialog, click the relevant tab.
- Select the linked model.
- To unload the selected model, click Unload. Click Yes to confirm.
- To reload the selected model, click Reload.

I don't know if we can help very much. I am assuming the link is Revit because you don't say. I have seen posts about dimension loss to CAD links but I have never seen any to Revit links.
In the view where you lose the dimesions are you possibly linking by view? If so then that is possibly your problem - I don't know for sure as I rarely ever link by view.
