Hey,
I was just wondering if it was possible to assign a weight to a family? i.e. if I create a cube and I know the cube weighs 400kg, is it possible to inbed this in the family so that I can possibly use it in the project to find out a total weight of my structure?
Also, I have seen it mentioned on here before but has anyone found out a way to show the cut length of a piece of steel in a tag?
Thanks in advance,
Steve

You can add a parameter to the family.... or in your case, you might just want to add a schedule parameter since you are filling it in.
Tags will not read size except for room, area tags (area, volumn).
