I am working in Revit 2013, and trying to load a furniture family in that I downloaded from Arcadia. When I load the furniture into the plan it says it is there, but I am unable to see it. I checked my visibility settings and they should not be getting in the way. I am able to see the furniture in 3d view, just not plan view, and the furniture lines are multicolored. Is there anything that I can do to make the family visible in plan view?
See attached photo.

If this family just has symbolic lines in plan, then maybe they are hidden by your floor. Try moving the item slightly above the floor. Properties - offset.
