After placing a curtain wall (Exterior Glazing), I added mullion to the grid location. After this modification, I cannot select or modify this curtain wall as a single component. I can only select a single or a group of component in this curtain wall. The length and height of the curtain wall cannot be change by grip edited.
Is there a work arround for this scenerio?

You are doing something wrong because adding a mullion will not do what you say is happening.
Tab over the CW and you will see the location line and grips.
