does anyone know how to set the view range for different level at one sheet? e.g. i have two buildings 8m apart, and have 2m difference of level, i want to show them at one sheet, and show the doors on the plan. because they are at the different level, if i set up the view range for one building, the other building would only see the door head. what can i do? onho

. You need to creat a 'Plan Region'. This allows multiple cut planes all within one view. Perfect for a split level situation or when a window is up to high on a wall etc.... Basically you can define an area in a view that has a different Cut Plane. Below is a link to a quick video that uses plan regions: http://www.dgcad.com/downloads/FURNITURE-PLAN-REGION.wmv Also, there are many more video tutorials on Views etc at: http://www.dgcad.com Lesson 6 or the REVIT series has lots of goodies on this topic. Enjoy, DG
