When I 'move' an element that has its end(s) cut on a refenence plane they loose thier ascociation with the plane and the cuts drop off however when I 'align' or 'drag' an element the cuts stay on the reference planes. I am the only one in this office this happens to and I cannot work out why it happens, it is very frustrating.
Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks.

I can pretty much understand why move doesn't work because the association to the cutting plane is lost. What I have trouble understanding even yet is what is the logic on dragging buttons. On some objects, the object moves. On others, the object changes length. I believe this depends on which end was the creation start but I have not tested by theory.
Sorry, I can't give you more help.

Seems to work on everyone elses PC in the office, Kind of annoying having to recut an element every time you move it yet if you drag or align the element it keeps its cuts.
