Hi there,
Ok, I understand that Revit is different from AutoCAD and I’m willing to learn whatever process it is to rotate a family in elevation, now as I’m relatively new user of Revit I would like to know something very simple, it might sound stupid but I do not have a clue about it.
Here I go: I have opened a new family file (mass concept) and created a simple mass cube, unticked every box (always vertical off etc), the question is: What do I need to do for this simple cube to rotate once is loaded in a project file. That will help me to understand most of the process, I think.
Many Thanks for your help in advance.

Did you read any of the similar threads below? Why are you making a cube as a mass?

Thanks for the links, it did actually work, secret was (at least in my case) to create the family with a Metric Generic Model face based, that did the trick for me. Now everything rotates in elevation.
Cheers!
