Hello,

I am having issues with the curtain walls in a project.  I have two questions.

1.) How can I pin a mullion without it changing back to the default?  I know that curtain walls are type-driven, but how can I fix this?  If I duplicate it and rename it in order to change the mullion widths in the properties palette, I still have multiple interior mullions that need to be different widths and I only have one width I can set in the properties pallette.

2.) Why is it when I change the walls around the mullions, it resets the curtain wall grid?  Do I need to disallow the join?

Thank you!

Individual items in a pre-defined curtain wall can be individually unlocked and modified.  But after initial placement, I prefer to change the entire curtain wall to one that has no preset properties.  Then you can change everthing.

Thank you for your message.  How do you change it to a wall with no preset properties?

You can have as many curtain wall types as you want.  Create one thgat has no defined spacings or mullions, click on your CW, change it to the new type and respond no when Revit wants to delete all your mullions and spacings.  Now change what you want.
