Hi,

I have attached an example of a plan i have at 1:100 and what happens when I change the scale to 1:500.

As you can see the grids and text go huge when the scale is changed to 1:500, does anyone know what settings i need to change to amned this?

thanks

This is the size it needs to be in order to print actually 3/32", 1/8" etc.  If you want smaller text you will need to change your text from (for example) 1/8" to 1/16"

These are ALL annotations and follow the same rules.  If they didn't change with the view scale you wouldn't be able to read them when they print.  If you NEED them smaller you will need to edit the family

Hi,

So what about if I want one drawing sheet with a plan at 1:500 and another drawing sheet with a plan at 1:200?

Will I have create two separate plans with different grid and text sizes?

thanks

Most individuals recognize that reading the number is what is important.  On very small scales we usually turn off all but the first and last column numbers.... or maybe every other one or similar approach but the bubble size stays the same in all views.
