All right - I'm sure I'm missing something extremely obvious. I've got all these beautiful curtain grids, and I lowered the ceiling height of a level above and now have too many horizontal grid lines. I select it, hit delete, nothing. I hit the add/delete segments, and delete until I get to the last one, then get the error that says you have to have at least one! What am I missing? Just go away, silly grid line!
Thanks

is it a curtain wall system? When you select it do you see picture of a pin? This means its a system and the grid layout is controlled by rule.
Either change the rule, or select the grid, then click the pin to unpin it, then delete it.
HTH.

So I have had the same problem. I did in fact unpin it, but it still wont let itself be deleted. you must set the rule to none first, then you can unpin and kill it. :-P

When you define a curtain wall type, you can control several settings ... mullion spacings vertically, horizontally and the mullions vertical / horizontal - in other words automatic or at least semi-automatic. .... or you can not have anything set and add everything where you want it. When you use the automatic settings, you will find that changes you make are often lost. That's because Revit tries to remake the curtain wall as it is defined. If you need to change this wall by deleting grids, you will need to change the property of the grid and disassociate i. I have a curtain wall type that has no pre-sets. After I place an automatic curtain wall, I change its type to the non-automatic (and answer no to any deletions revit wants to do). This will enable you to then change spacings, add curtain wall doors ...etc.

Revit does not make any distiction between curtain walls or storefront, they are both built the same way. A good place to start is to read your HELP on curtain walls, it covers very well all aspects of using curtain walls.
