We have a revit project with slight angles between walls (and even walls/axis) - it's due to realistic 3D scanning survey. When placing dimensions in Revit 2014 often it crashes with/without recovery files. It can also crash when placing/copy dimension on perfectly ortogonal geometries on another project (crashing the graphic card). Has anyone experienced this sort of errors? Is this related with revit, graphics acceleration or the graphic card?

Revit will not dimension to linework or faces that are not PERFECTLY parallel. This is one reason why CAD is so problematic. CAD does not work the same as Revit and parallel lines are not parallel... they just look like they are.
I believe most of your blow-up problems are your previously stated card issues.
