Hi all.
Can two parameters be combined into one.
Example: I have three length parameters in a Foundation Family. Length = 5'-0", Width = 5'-0". and Depth = 0'-10".
I have to make a Quantity Schedule but the engineer does not want those numbers in three seperate columns.
He will not accept anithing different than this: 5'-0" x 5'-0' x 0'-10".
I want to use my three parameters so the schedule will update to any changes. I dont want to use a text parameter that will not update with any changes.
So in lack of being able to talk some sense into our engineer does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks.

There are no text manipulation formula's in Revit .....
You can turn off the grids, use columns and add the grid lines in paper space.
You can export to excel by way of a txt file, manipuate the schedule, print that and insert in Revit.
THere are excel link add-ons.
