How does one use this? In the accurender help files it states to go to the Accurender dialog box....where is this? I have been unable to find it. The closest I have come is the Plant editor.

If you go o the plant editor, and then click on help it brings up the accurender help files. These files give instruction on how to add plants to the project by using the 'Accurender Dialog Box'. I am unable to find this dialog box.

Falcon,
You are correct. There isn't an Accurender Dialogue box, as there is within Autocad. This help file is a 'generic' one that McNeel produces and 95% of it does apply. In Revit, you have to do some things slightly different.
You will need to create a new Plant item for placement in Revit (or duplicate an existing one and edit it.)
1) Go to the Site toolbar > Site Component (IF one is not loaded, load one from the PLANTINGS folder in the Library.)
2) In the Project Broser, right click on Tree-Deciduous > New Type
3) Right click on the New item > Properties / Click on Rename and give it a new one
4) In the Properties Box, look under Other (at the bottom) and click on the right side of Plant Name - this will call up the Accurender Plant Library Matrix Dialogue.
5) Select the Groundcover folder and choose one from the list (Wild Ginger is good). You might need to play around to see what is good for you. Click OK.
6) Change the information in the Type Properties box to a name that reflects what you've chose (YES, this should Auto-update, but it doesn't).
7) Change the plant height to something more appropriate, say 3'-0" This has no real bearing for ground cover, but comes into play for trees.
REMEMBER - The groundcover is an item that is approximately 3'-0" x 3'-0". I suggest you should make a new Plant .rfa family that is a square box of this size. This will help in laying it out. Randomly place and rotate these to get good coverage and so you don't 'see' the squares.
Happy Planting!
