I'm working on railings for the first time in Revit 2013. Been through loads of forums and videos and can't find the answers to a few questions:
1. Since the rails can't host to the stringer, I can't get the bottom of the posts (baluster at line breaks) to slope with the stringer. How do you usually handle this issue with MC Channel stringers where the bottom of the baluster isn't burried in a tube? (bubbled in "Rail 2" pdf attached)
2. The corner posts at the landing aren't aligning with the same offset as the rest of the Corner Posts at the segment ends. They are roughly 1/2" off. All the offsets to get the rail and balusters over the stringer are the same.  highlighted in "Rail 1" pdf attached)
3. The top rail element is doing a double gooseneck at the intermediate landing. The corner balusters don't go to the high end of the first gooseneck, even though this is where the balusters are hosted at the top. Am I missing something in the Top Rail or baluster settings?  bubbled in "Rail 2" pdf attached)
4. Finally, the 1/2" square main pattern balusters are set to break the pattern at Each Segment End. Nonetheless, they are occasionally conflicting with the Corner Posts at Each Segment End.
My set up is:
Top rail and handrail are of the Top Rail Element and Handrail properties. All the balusters are in the Baluster Placement button, but I did try including a baluster in my support family before I found that cumbersome and glitchy.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
