Hi there,

Can some one provide solution... how to opload the family correctly into project as its asking for start and end point to place but i dont have these points to the family i hv created. I tried to place it though normal upload and bring profile from project browser to place in the project through side elevation. Each time while providing end point of the model it getting deviated specially wooden louvers.

I am uploading the frame structure here so some one can experiment with any rectangular building block and try to place it on its top to provide second roofing system.

I hope, i am able to convey my problem as its bit complex i guess.........

Thanks in advance....

Mohammad

You created this as a Structural Framing family, like a beam it needs a start and end point that you need to draw.  So in a floor plan or roof plan view just select where you want it to start at and end at and it will draw it in.
