HI, I am using revit 2014,
Is there somehow anyway to make a color legend for lines?. I mean I am making thick colored lines and i want a legend that refers to each line's color .
Please see the attached picture. i want something like it

I have taken a look at the thread . but this is not what i want. because they are all talking about how to make the wall fire rated ... but my issue is not about how to show the wall it is about how to make a color legend for linetypes.

actually , the first picture is a pdf file that i received . and i have to do it on revit, and what i've done is making new line-styles. see the attached pic

i just want to know if there is a way to make color legend for the line-styles or no.. ((like the rooms))

Let's not waste any more time here. This is foolish.
What is a legend? It is a representative of the item and text you add. So for your legend component - draw one of your colored lines and add the text in a legend view. Obviously, the line will be too narrow so use a filled region with that same color - just like you did in CAD.

I know this . but my question was is it possible to have an auto color legend like the rooms legend ((Look at the attachement))??????

No it will not be automated and its not a very good process.

You are not doing an area or room legend, are you? Revit has those two only. All other legends, you must create.
