I need help creating a model pattern for Revit from AutoCAD. I drew the pattern that I am trying to create and brought it into a Demo verson of Hatchkit, but when I load it into Revit 2012 it does not look like the pattern, there are a lot of excess lines and the spacing does not work. Attached is the CAD file and the pat file that Hatchkit created.

Hi,
Please try the attached pattern, created by the fully licensed HatchKit 2.7 version.
All HatchKit Demo versions intentionally watermark any patterns created, as pointed out during installation. This watermarking does not occur in licensed versions.
Also, our recently published "HatchKit Add-In for Revit" which can be found on the Autodesk Exchange Revit Store can import patterns from HatchKit that exceed Revit's scaling limits. Very large, accurate patterns can be loaded.
Anybody who has a question or suggestion about HatchKit is most welcome to send email to the address shown on the "About HatchKit" panel displayed by opening HatchKit and clicking Help>About HatchKit.
And a happy holiday season to all.

That worked well, the only thing was a line that repeats every 12" that would not actually be there since the tiles are staggered. Good enough for the presentation purposes that we need it for though. Thanks. I'll have to look into getting the licensed version of Hatchkit, it seems to be pretty easy to use.

Hi
Thank you. good catch. All I did was:
- save that .DWG as a DXF
- import the DXF to HatchKit
- find the Mirage Glass Tile CNB -35 block at the end of the item drop-down
- cut and paste all to the origin.
- save as Revit Inch model pattern.
What I omitted to do was adjust the vertical arrangement to "dock" the pattern and delete any overlapping items at the edges (as attached).
