Whenever I click on an item (window, ceiling, ANYTHING) in Revit LT, is opens that item as if to edit its family.  It's making my workflow very tedious, as I have to keep closing the family files, to get back to my present project.  Is this a known issue?  Can I make it stop (please?)

You should always post your revit issue and update number when you post because there are issue specific problems and solutions.

I will assume you are on 2014.  Goto your revit R dropdown - options - double click settings and change it.

WWHub...you're absolutely right!  Sorry I wasn't clear (Revit makes me slightly crazy.)  But, your fix solved my problem, and I'm back in the groove.  Thanks!!
