Revit version: 2014
I am not sure how to explain it but I want to put concrete steps on a terrained site as in the picture(222.jpg) attached. I tried it in revit with a building pad but there's always a hole separating the earth & the stairs..I tried it without the building pad and it turned out like the second image(111.jpg)
Pleassse helppp...

You could use multiple pads with one being sloped under the steps but why? I typically do a pad to below the stairs so topo is correct in 3D. Then in section views, I add the fill pattern where it is missing. (Non BIM - because the quantity doesn't report.)
You could also split this area out of the topo and then alter the boundry points so that the topo without the stairs would fit under this area.
