I'm using Revit 2013 and drawing a multi segment grid line around a stadium. I have an overall plan and 4 quadrants for enlarged plans. When I create the enlarged plans and pull the crop region in to isolate the view area the grid will only allow me to place the bubble at one end. There is no check box available for the end that I want to show for the grid bubble. I've tried editing the grid properties to show the bubble at both ends/end 1/end 2 and whatever I select it still will not show. I've tried cropping the view a few different ways and the only thing I figured out is that when I hold the crop region out far enough where the grid turns slightly it will give me both ends to add the bubble but once I only have a straight segment it goes to just the one end for an option and it is the wrong side that I need to display. I don't want to have the crop region pulled so far out that it shows the turn in the grid because it is so far past my matchline. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Multi-segment grid line? No such thing.
Uncrop the view, find the true end of your grid and drag it into view (2D). Now you can check the box to show the grid head.

Within the Grid comman there is an option in "Draw" for multi-segment. It allows you to draw a continous grid with multiple axis

In Revit 2013 there is such a thing as multi segment grid lines. Please check things before responding with an untrue statement. I have found on another Revit site that scope boxes or crop regions don't play nicely with this command. Not sure if it is fixed in 2014 yet didn't have time to try it our yet.

Wow - sorry, I missed this new function added in 2013. This issue had come up so many times in the past and we were never ever ablt to do this. In 2014, I clicked on a grid and there were no new options but I had not seen this function which is only available when you place the grid.
Interesting - I did a little experiment which anyone could do.
- Grid 2 - multi-segment drawn left to right - add an annotation crop region and the grid bubble will be there..... but NOTE - You can't then add the left bubble.
- Grid 3 - normal grid - right to left
- Grid 4 - multi-segment drawn right to left - annotation crop allowed both ends.
Experiment like I did and you may find a solution.
Thanks patton for pointing out this..... never to late to learn something new.
