Using Revit 2013 I am unable to get the material patterns (cmu, standing seam roof) to print on one computer and they print on another from the same file. that goes for a actual printer and printing to a PDF.

I'd say start by comparing the 'printer drivers'.

today we printed to different perspective views from the same revit model and one view showed the material patterns and one view did not. both views were sent to the same printer.

Then I suggest that something is different between the two views.
- The item is over-ridden and the pattern is turned off.
- The view is too small to show patterns
- Phase or design options may have been used and the wall is different
- A filter has been applied to this element....

the view in-question printed with the material pattern showing at another computer. could it be graphic card related from the computer that prints with the material pattern not showing?
I was thinking that it had something also to do with the view and its settings. but when I printed that view from another computer it came out fine.

Now that you tested from another computer, I suggest you look at your printer drivers instead of the graphics card just as dgcad told you to at first.

I will try the printer driver suggestion. I would think it was something else being that I printed two different perspective views from the same computer to the same printer. one of them printed with the material pattern and one did not.
