If you have ever used an irregularly shaped decal by using the cutout option then you know what a pain the decal boarder can be. Here is how to make it all but disappear in 3D views.
Make a custom line pattern (I named mine Decal Boarder) with a dot and a larger space, I used ½”
Then use override graphics to change the decal boarder to this line pattern. Then set the scale of the 3D drawing to a really small scale, say 12” = 1’-0”. The border line turns into dots at the corners of the decal and 4 dots is way better than a whole line. If you adjust the line color through graphic override you can make it all but disappear.
Enjoy.

I just discovered this does not work in Perspective views. I guess you can't win them all.
