Hi
I'm busy with a project that is an existing home that is being raised and build in underneath.
I need to show existing elevational levels and then propsed elevational levels. Is there anyway to asign phases to "levels" so that I can move the house up to the new level for the proposed phase but still have my existing elevations showing original levels
Thanks
Ess

Why do you ask the question about phased levels? It would seem that you can test this very quickly for yourself.
You will NOT be able to "move" the house up. You may want to just build it at the new level and use simple "existing" elements that you demo at the lower elevation.

Sorry WWHub, not sure what you mean with "Why do you ask the question about phased levels? It would seem that you can test this very quickly for yourself." or how I coud "test this"
For the project I need to be showing the exisiting conditions ie. elevations with exisitng FGL, the FFL & Head hight for the underneath of the house (not currently code compliant for min head height for habital space) & the FFL of the actual house (upper level) and then after the house has been raised the NEW FGL for the upperlevel and the new top plate height the lower area (showing compliance with code requirments) while the FGL and lower level FFL stay the same as existing.
So what I wanted to know was if there was a trick someone knew of to assign phases to these levels so that I could show the existing upper FFL level as being demolished" during the proposed phase and the existinghouse move the new proposed upper FFL level.
From your reply however it does not seem that there is anyway I can achieve this so I will just have to try and make a full copy of the whole project in model space and then use the second one as my "proposed" assigning additional level and moving the structure up to them

Thats an interesting question. I wonder if this can be solved by using linked models.
