I've been trying to ungroup furniture elements from a group and I can't seem to find the right answer. I am usinf Revit 2013. Any help?

Click on the family and pick ungroup if you want to ungroup the whole group.  To remove an element and leave it in place, edit the group and use the remove from group option.  If you don't want that group option in this location, simply tab pick the item (not edit group) and hit the delete key.

 

This process as well as many other useful methods is clearly shown in the help.

Just click on the group and on your ribbon click ungroup.

Thank you for the prompt response . I don't have the group panel in my ribbon only the create panel. I can create groups but not edit or ungroup them. I used the Revit help but can't seem to be able to bring it in my ribbon. Help would be much appreciated.

After you selected that Group, the Group Panel will be shown in the ribbon next to the Creat Panel.
