Hi All, I have a host family with a series of nested families within it. I load the host family into the project all good. Now I need to reload some of the nested families. I thought I could load them directly into the project and they would update in the host families, but this does not happen. Is this correct behaviour?? I need to reload the families into the host family first, then reload the host family into the project. Thanks in advance for any assistance or advice. D

Hi Damo
Yes that is the revit behavior,
unless you make the nested families shared, then you can load and update nested family directly to a project
