Using Revit Archtiecture 2013 I have added a plan region for a view window above my cut plane.

In the attached file, the window will show up, but only if I flip the interior exterior arrow.  The plan region view plane is cut at the centerline of the window, so it should cut thru the window in both views.    Right?

Any thoughts as to why the direction of the woindow would impact its visiblity? All the settings are the same in the attached drawing.

The family is probably built incorrectly.  Model elements are out of view when flipped in fine detail.  The coarse view has symbollic lines and those are in correct location.

Solution.  The plan region box was cropping the int./ext. arrow when flipped and not showing in plan.  By extending the plan region box beyond the arrow it worked.

Really!

You need to fix the family and move the flipper closer.   Was this window in the correct category?  I thought they are fully cuttable and this should not have been a problem.

I had not heard of this problem .... a good one to remember.

I won't guarantee this will work every time, but it worked in my situation.  The window was an OOTB Revit window family, modified to a different size.  That may have created the issue in the first place.
