i cant seem to get revit 2013 to recognize the ChameleonRVT.dll. Ive run the setup exe... and installed the unblocked files it in the folder :C:\Documents and Settings\MY NAME HERE\Application Data\Autodesk\Revit\Addins\2013. It gives me the message Failed to initialize the add in "chameleon" because the assemby "Release\ChameleonRVT.dll" does not exist. Any advice is appreciated. I'll keep trying and let you know if I figure it out Thanks -Ethan

hey figured it out!!!!!!!!!!!! Always happens soon after i ask on forum! I had to open the addin file in notepad and in text rename "Release\ChameleonRVT.dll" to just "ChameleonRVT.dll" and there it is happily living in my add in bar!!!!!!!! Thanks for awesome plug in!

I have the same problem though the plugin maxwell.dll is missing! can you help me? im kind of desperate!

So I am having this same issue again in Revit 2015 this time. I have the Chameleon RVT.dll in the Revit Addins 2015 folder and I get this error message theat the plug in fails to initalize because the dll does not exist. however I have the same file living in my revit 2014 version and it works fine when I run 2014... weird. I tried my last fix and it didnt work this time. any new advice is apppreciated thanks !!! e

asked the forum and again found the answer 5 minutes later... I realize the dll needed to be in the folder revit addins 2015 and then in a folder caller Release not just in the 2015 folder ! Success !!!!
