I'm creating a bubble diagram for a building. Rather than doing it on trace, as an experiment I thought I'd create a Family that was just a filled region, a room-name label, and a S.F. output. The idea being that I could drop these rectangles on blank plan and move them around, stretch them, etc., until I flushed out my locations and sizes.A problem I ran into was the family templates I tested that had filled region in model space didn't have a label. The templates under Annotations had labels, but the filled regions were in paper space. How can I created a family with filled regions in model space and label? Alternatively, does Revit have a feature built into already that I'm reinventing? I tried dropping rooms into a blank plan but they seemed to want walls and Idon't want to go there yet.

I'm not sure why it didn't hold the page on the help when I copied it but essentially yes the HELP menu is actually helpful with things like room separation lines and color fill legends.

Apologies Tea. I thought you were giving me a hard time.
Never thought to use room separation lines for this. Many thanks.
