HELP!
I'm a new user, and this is my first post so any help would be great.
I'm trying to create a symbol that can be placed within one of my lighting manufactures family files. The symbol would be to show up on the plan view and be in line with my normal AutoCAD luminare legends. so my drawings look like my drawings when i print them and give them to our site lads to install from.
Some of the fittings need to be fixed sizes and not scale up and down dependant on the view scale so i'm thinking i need to use the detail component families.
Problem is when i bring into my project the text doesn't come through.
I thought about making a family of just annotation text, and inserting that into my new detail component but then the text scales with the view size, and i dont want that. i want it to remain the same.
hope i've expained it ok.
anything i can do?
