I'm doing a plan showing a variety of sizes of tables, and rather than tag the furniture I'd like to have a label inside the family object instead (object attached, with a nested generic annotation label).

I can get the label to show up, but it seems stuck on showing a single output, an instance parameter type mark, which i have as a text parameter.

It should instead show the type Mark different for each of the different types?

It changes OK within the Family Editor, just not when I have a variety of sizes and obviously Types on my floor plan.

Can anyone suggest where I am going wrong?

on "Type Mark" instread of instance parameter change to Type parameter

Tried that first time and didn't work so had changed it to By Instance, changed back to being a Type Parameter and unfortunately still doesn't work.

See attached for what i see on my plan.

Does it work for yourself though?

If so must be something else...

Dang, I wasn't reloading it into the project properly.

Do it right and it works....
