I'm using Revit 2014. When i insert the any window, the window view on the floor plan is in totally grey colour, doesnt matter what colour the wall is (as shown as the second window from the top in the pic). When I was using Revit 2012, I did not have this problem, all the windows would be white as the 1st top window in the pic attached. Bothe the top windows are the same ones. One taken from revit library archive online (the white one) and the other from the local library on the laptop that came with the software as I mentioned before.
Also as you can compare the other bottom windows that are also the same types. One of them is tottally white and the other has partial grey colour in it.
I just want all the window display in floor plan to show only in white as the 1st and 3rd windows as shown in the pic. Is there any way to change the grey ones to white? (Especially when I use my standard library in the software) or how would I be able to change them individually?
Thanks in advance!

Check your view settings. I will bet that the cut plane is cutting the windows at a different place.

Thanks for the response. I have checked it. For all the 4 families of the windows in the pic, their view range is the same. or did u mean something else?

Change your plan's cut plane down 6" and see what happens.

Edit the cut plate of the window family using family editor ... see link below. Hope this helps.

What oneworld is suggesting is that the view cut location in the family is possibly cutting through a solid and that could be. What I was suggesting is similar because you can get the same affect by cutting through a solid in the model.
We can't rally test either of these because we don't have your family that is having problems.
