When the Color Scheme dialogue box is opened on the computer, it display all the columns but none of the data under the columns is visible.
we checked by opening other files, with the same result.
we opened those same files on other computers and the dialogue box displayed properly with all the data in the columns being displayed as well.
We reloaded and over wrote the local file on the machine in question and still the problem persist. We even rebooted the machine, with no luck.
Is it a display card issue? or perhaps a visual setting in Revit? Please help.

You don't say what year or build you are on. Make sure you have all of the updates and service packs installed on that machine. You also may want to try turning off hardware acceleration. If you go under options is your graphics card an approved card?

running Revit Design suite 2013 on Windows 7 professional. I tried turning off hardware acceleration, did not change anything. The card is not approved, but we are running other unapproved cards on other macines without issue. I have updated the display drivers on the macine in question, did not resolve issue.

If I remember correctly, you must restart Revit after changing the hardware acceleration setting.

We did. No change. Going to start the process if installing the service packs. I currently have all 3 service packs. Can I just install #3 or do I have to install all of them?

You install the service packs in the order they were realeased.

Service packs installed. Issue still persist. I would swear it seems like a display setting somewhere, because we noticed all the horizontal and vertical lines in the properties dialog window are missing as well.

Did you restart Revit/your computer after you installed the service packs? It's not a Revit display issue that I have ever heard of. You said it works on all of the other computers so do all of your other computers have the same graphics card as this one does?

It is more than likely the card. Make sure you have the latest driver for that card. Is it a different card then your other machines?

It is an older card, but there is another machine with an even older model (it has no display issue). It's a Nvidia GeForce GTS 450 series and we did install the latest driver. Definately did a reboot since the updates.

SOLVED
It turns out that when using custom themes in Windows 7 has an effect on the way Revit displays it's information in their own windows.
