Hi, I installed revit 2014 full licenced student version yesterday and started working on a model, saved, and shut down. Today I went to reopen and work on it (have been working on it for the past 4-5 hours) and realised it hadn't prompted me to save all night. Went to manually save and realised that I had opened the file in Revit Viewer Mode Sad it is telling me I can't save and I was wondering if there is any way around this as I don't want to loose all my work.. Rookie error, but hoping someone will be able to help! Thank you in advance!

Looks like you will pay for your mistake.  You need a properly licensed version to save anything.

Hi WWHub, thanks for your response. Would you be able to clarify what you mean by 'properly licenenced version'? As I have downloaded it from the Autodesk website directly and have the serial and product number they sent me, hence why I was able to save last night. I think what happened is that when I went to reopen the file today, I accidentally opened it in the Revit Viewer Mode instead of just Revit...

You have to open it with your student license.
