Hello,

We are using Revit Arch 2014. In my floor plans some of the 3-d componets ie: beds, vanitys, ref etc... are not visable in floor plans. They are turned on in properties. They are not hidden. The cut plan is adjusted correctly. When we turn on the light bulb they are visable. When the light bulb is turned off they go away. When you mouse over the object you can select it. You just cant see it. Very weird and have tried everything we can think of. I havent found another post on here about this issue. Going to call Pacific Cadd soon.

Thanks for any ideas or help.

Are they really 3D in plan or just 2D in plan views?  Typically the problem is the element is under your floor surface.  Turn off the floor and see if they appear.

Thanks for the responce. I turned off the floor and it did not show up. I made sure it was set to the elevation i needed. Do you think it may be the componet. A guy in my office had the same issue with a vanity componet. He used a different one and it showed up. The componets show up in section btw.

For sure it could be the component.  Open the family - make sure it is in the category you think it is.  See if there are any model elements set to be seen in plan views.  If not, are there any annotative elements in the family plan view?
