Hi all,
We've created a structural column family that has a hundred or so types. If you insert one of Revit's out-of-the-box structural column families, it will ask which types within that family you would like to insert. Obviously, this is nice because your project isn't temporarily cluttered with unused column sizes. How can we get our family to act the same way?
Thanks in advance guys.

Before you started building your family, you should have done a little research. The families guide is available on the autodesk site and it tells how to do this as well as good family building practices.
