Hi,
I'm tyring to edit the profile of a crutain wall so that it aligns with an adjacent wall. The only problem, is that the curtainwall keeps embedding itself in the wall instead of aligning with it.
I've attached a screen shot.
Any ideas on what this might be?
Thanks

Your images don't tell us much. You should be working in a plan view and disjoin the wall to move it.

I tried editing the wall in plan view as well but couldn't get it to align properly.
I attached 3D views because I thought they would show the overall context better.
Here is the plan view though. You can see where the mullion that is embedded in the wall is highlighted blue. I can't seem to disjoin the mullion or move it.

Here is another 3d View, almost an elevation, that shows the overall profile of the curtain wall I'm trying to edit.
I wasn't sure if the abnormal shape of the overall wall might have some impact on this problem.

I obviously misread your initial post thinking you were moving the wall.
First - when you edit profile, only work in elevation views.
This is a very complex shape for a CW profile edit. I probably would have broken this up into multiple sections.
Did you turn off wall joins for this CW?

Yes, I disallowed wall joining.
I wanted to do it with one curtainwall because of the way the mullion patterns would lay out. I didn't want to have a condition where to boarder mullions came up against each other.

You do not have to place mullions on every border. So when I have a condition like this, I just drop the mullions on the adjoing CW.

Okay,
Do you think the profile of the wall is simple too complex ? It would be nice to keep it as one element if possible.
Thanks for your help though. I will try breaking it down into smaller wall sections.
