Is there a way to control the level or height at which the room tag function reads the room?  When you try to tag rooms of a ceiling plan, the rooms names that come up are from levels below, not useful.

Steve - not sure what you mean.  The rooms being tagged should be on the level the ceiling is in so - yes - the room from below.

I have created all floors of a house.  I have labeled the rooms names and numbers.  Now I create ceiling plans for electrical and lighting design.  I'd like to label the room names on the electrical plans.  when I do so, they names that come up on the electrical plans read levels below them...sometimes.   See video... http://screencast.com/t/FCetvLfu1U

The only rooms that will read are rooms that are cut by the view cut plane.  Check out the height of the offending rooms - that shows up in the room properties.  ALSO - pay attention to underlays.

I figured it out.  If i selected the basement rooms that were eroneously reporting on levels above, the room properties had "upper limits" and "upper limit offsets" above the ceiling heights of those rooms.  I don't know how they were created that way, but resetting fixed all the room tag problems. Thanks.
