Please bear with me...
We are architect revit project. We have our strl revit file linked to ours to show major strl elements correctly and verify placement. Right now we are getting these strange colors--blue, green, and orange on some of strl elements.
I am isolating the elments from the strl revit to just the ones we want, i.e strl framing, colm, and the generic models strl has created for cross brace frames, in specific visibility graphics. Afterwards, orange lines remain. I believe they are reference planes from strl family/project. I went into strl revit project and hide reference planes/views, and did the same thing within the specific family, "frame at Ln 7a."
To no avail, the orange lines still appear. The green and blue lines appear if we set the detail level to course...which is understandable since they will do so with strl elements. Please help! and let me know if you need more pictures.

Why are you not using copy monitor for columns and turning that category off in the VG/Linked/Revit settings?
Structure has analysis lines that show up at different detail settings. Through the same process as above, you can set the detail level of the linked file elements seperate from your view detail level.

I assumed copy/monitor only works with floors, openings, columns, grids, and levels?
We have numerous atriums that are framed out and cross braced. Structural has decided to make those into generic models...which I thought couldn't be copy monitored?
Yesterday I was able to get rid of the colored lines by applying one of our view templates and then changing the specific view settings to incorporate strls. Although I prefer to understand the problem, it worked for now.
