Greetings all. I am a Architectural Technology student and looking to purchase a new laptop to run Revit and AutoCAD 2013. I'll add the build below but I spoke with a representative from the online provider and he said that the unit uses 'optimus' video technology which uses intels on-board video driver as the primary and will not switch over to the external nVidia card for Revit or AutoCAD. Can anyone give me a definite yes/no on using the laptop for Revit and AutoCAD?

Sager NP8275-GTX 770M Laptop

17.3" (1920 x 1080) LED display

nVidia GeForce GTX 770M 256 bit w/ 3 GB GDDR5 video card

Intel i7 - 4900MQ mobile processor w/ 8MB L3 cache

32 GB DDr3 / 1600 dual channel memory

120GB Crucial M500 mSATA III SSD

750 GB 7200 RPM SATA II 3GB/s HD

combo dual layer DVD & CD R/RW drive

Bigfoot Networks Killer wireless-N 1202 + Bluetooth 4.0

Windows 7 pro 64 bit OS

Thanks for any help in advance. Need to get a unit ordered soon.

David.
