Hello everyone,
Revit lineweights are a little less detailed. If someone has a file with lineweights custom set-detailed, please upload it here.. Thankyou.

I'm sorry but I don't think you will get any files. It looks like you need to spend some time getting a better understanding of Revit's line processes. Most of us get by with just a dozen or so linetypes.

Thanks for ur response. Well i'aware of how the layers and lineweights can be custom changed. it might be time consuming to set it all by myself. Just wishing someone would have the project standards shared like how layers for CAD are obtained. Thanks anyways.

You really do need to spend some time here understanding Revit. It is not CAD and you need a different thought process. Revit does not have layers and lineweights are "fluid" based on view scale. If you don't spend this time understanding this, you will really be frustrated.
"...shared like how layers for CAD are obtained..." Not sure what you mean here. Again, Revit does not use layers. All linked CAD files or inserted CAD files maintain their CAD layers - you don't obtain anything seperate in Revit.

The thing is, where I worked the template was set with lineweights custom to how it would be in Autocad- If u export drawings from Revit to Cad they would have the layers just the way how the original CAD drawing are dealt with (the layer colours, lineweights and names) . We usually start a new project but "Transfer Project Standards" from older files having all Properties set. So if someone would have a REVIT file only with these settings and share, it would help me a lot. "Shared like how CAD files are obtained" meaning the Layer States. I badly need a Revit file with Object style and Lineweights set.

OK - Now you are asking a question that I think makes sense. When EXPORTING to CAD, Revit uses an established setup which you can control or modiy. That standard here in the US is based on the AIA standards. See Attached.
