I am a brand spanking new convert to Revit. Still exploring how deep is the water!
I have been trying to find a Steet Truss family where i can specify Joist Bearing, Slope and Span of a Steel Truss between two wall or columns or combination of the two. There are a couple of families within the system but they lack the capability to define exact slope and Joist Bearing, unless i am looking at a completely wrong place to find such a family in its library!
Can someone help me with some direction in this regard?

Most folks that upload families to this site put them in the correct location, but on occasion I've found items in strange places. Do a search under all families and search with different names, this way you'll find more families

Try looking on Autodesks website. I have downloaded families from them. Not sure about the truss thing.
I am new to this program as well. There seems to be a learning curve, especially coming from an AutoCAD background
