I have this P-trap family that I frequently have issues with, and was wondering if someone can help with a solution, if there is one.  Also, everyone can copy this file for your own use if interested.  Maybe someone can help to fix it and post the fix for all to use, or is there one already that exists?

Some of the issues are the ptrap gets installed in the wrong direction, based on how you select the pipes, and sometimes on how the pipes where drawn.  We change the ell to the ptrap fitting, then if its wrong, delete the ptrap fitting, then reconnect the verticle to the horizontal pipe then replace the ell again with the ptrap.  It would be nice for it to always go in right the first time.

Also, sometimes if the pipe the ptrap is on is modifed, or moved, or repitched, it will cause the fitting to be redrawn, and sometimes goes back in the wrong direction.

Any advice or a working ptrap would be greatly appreciated.

Try hitting your spacebar before clicking the placement point. It will cycle thru different basepoints in the fixture family. I also find you have to wiggle your mouse a round as you do it for the graphics to update real time.

This works for pipe, conduit and duct fixtures.
