(New to Revit)
When I download from revitcity, ie a fireplace or showertray etc I get an error messsage when trying to load it in to Revit. How do I know which family type it is I tried to load the fireplace as a component (in Architecture tab) no joy
Also I downloaded a sliding door but it shows as two regular doors rather then sliding
Thanks

We don't prrof any families that users have loaded here so use at your own risk.
Open the family and use the load into project. BTW - In the family editor, you can see what category the family is in. After loading, you will find the family in the project's browser.
