Hi All,

I'm pretty new to Revit, from the civil engineering industry, and really want to convince my company to start using Revit on some of their projects. The amount of imputting and creating sections from scratch we do could be done in a better way if we used Revit.

Anyways, I was asked to put together a proposal. Nothing too fancy, but just enough to let my boss know what it is and why they should go for it. I've had a bit of trouble backing up most of my information though. I need numbers to make it credible. For example, How has it adapted to the various industries? I know architects are going super pro- Revit, but is engineering the same (percentages)? Also, how many countries use it? Any indication on how much time a competent user saves?

I know it's evolving, but just wondering whether or not there are numbers out there. Maybe I'm not searching properly, but I've been looking for something for the past two weeks.

Lot of big industries using  RAC,RST,RMEP etc.
