HI
I have a problem
We have an architectural model linked into an interior design file that does their own package with finishes and furniture etc...
Is there a way where we can use the material tag in the interior model and paint the walls in the interior model or add a material to the walls so we can tag it?
Or is there a better procedure for this in regards to having a linked file.

Sorry - paint is a model element and therefore you have to own the element being painted.
You can copy monitor walls and then turn off the architectural walls - then you own them.
