Greetings,
I have a model into which I have linked another revit file. This linked revit file has some levels that show in section, however these levels are of a different level convention than the rest of my model so I need to turn them off to avoid confusion, but I cannot select them to hide them, nor can I see an option to turn them off.
Any assistance would be appreciated.
Revit Architecture 2013.
Many thanks,
CM.

From the view in question, open VG, goto the linked Revit tab, change the settings from using your VG settings to custom, then goto the annotations tab for the linked model, change that to custom and uncheck the box so you hide all annotations from the linked model.

doing it through VG/templates is quite a messy way to do it (although it has it's place) much easier to do it under the manage links and reload i the link but specify the workset that's loaded in and untick the shared grids/level.
each have thier plae though so take your pick!

I disagree, WWHubs way of doing it is how I would do it. You can also set this up in a View Template.

yes, sorry for confusion. I agree if VG/ templates is if you want to be able to control by views but I thought the Q was specifically about turning off unwanted referencedlevels everywhere within the entire project hence the more global approach through worksets loaded from the linked model.
