Dear Revit users,

I would like to ask for a method about visual schedules. For example I have a big object - building, that has tons of different windows and doors. My goal is to make a legend that would have each(group) window dimensioned and basically tagged and marked (like in archicad).

Right now I have a method  that i purge unused, then add all (doors/windows) families from family browser to legend, annotate it as necessary, then divide revit window and rewrite tags/marks from the schedules.

The problem is that sometimes I would need some doors/windows that is not right now in the project and purge all is deleting those.

Another thing is I can not copy/paste windows/doors from the plan to legend. So at some point visual scheduling becomes extremely difficult job.

Could you please suggest me a better workflow.

Thank you in advance.

I don't know (or care) about how archicad does it.  IOf you learn Revit, I think you will find it works just fine.
